Note: When the device is operated in an environment with continuous
vibration load greater than 0.7g, it must be fixed to the switch cabinet with the
2 fixed mounting brackets at the front and rear of the device.
Additional mounting brackets are provided as accessories.
See “Accessories” on the page 80.
Prerequisite:

Install the device in a 19" standard cabinet with a depth of at least
150 mm greater than the device depth. Varify that the front and rear air
channels of the cabinet is smooth. Do not place anything near the front
and rear doors to block the air channels .

Before installing an MTS8000 switch, check the maximum load-bearing
capacity of the cabinet, pallet, and equipment room floor. For details
about the weight of each MTS8000 switch component, see technical
data. To ensure heavy load, heat dissipation, and cabling, you are
advised to install only one MTS8000 switch in a standard cabinet .

Check the grounding and smoothness of the cabinet. Confirm that there
are no obstacles in or around the cabinet that affect device installation.
CAUTION
BURNING HAZARD
The surfaces of the device housing may become hot. Avoid touching the
device while it is operating.
Failure to follow this instruction can result in injury.
