Activating the iControl Services Gateway
The iControl Services Gateway is software that enables external devices to access resources
(via XML) on an iControl network. If any of the following situations apply, you should
activate the iControl Services Gateway on your Application Server:
• You wish to use an RCP-100 or RCP-200 remote control unit, as a client to the
Application Server.
Notes
• Assigning multiple ports to an
Imaging
Connection Manager or
VTR
Connection service creates a new row for each port, identified by the
port number.
• Assigning multiple ports to the
Tandberg Alteia
service does not create
more than one row.
• A green background indicates services that are running. Blue indicates
services that are stopped.
