about the devices on its network. It also registers with all lookup services that are running
on other Application Servers on the same subnet.
If you have multiple Applications Servers and/or multiple subnets in your iControl network,
you should disable superfluous lookup services.
To turn an Application Server’s lookup service off
1 Open the iControl admin page (see Opening iControl admin , on page 8).
2 In iControl admin, under iControl services , click Services management .
The Services management page appears.
3 Click Configure RMID , near the bottom of the page.
The RMID configuration page appears.
IMPORTANT
The lookup service should only be activated on a maximum of two
Application Servers per subnet.
