GV Node

User Manual

iControl Navigator display of GV Node components

Double-click on an icon to open the iControl service panel for that module.

Detailed descriptions of the iControl panels for each component of the GV Node are given
below.

The Controller Web Page

The CPU-ETH3 controller serves a web page that provides complete configuration tools for
the controller itself.

• The integrated frame reference, the IFM-2T fabric module, and the modular cards

cannot be configured through this interface.

• See

Configure the Controller

on page 11 for instructions on accessing and using this

page.

Networking and Control Setup

For the GV Node to join a TCP/IP network, it must be configured with an IP address, a
network mask, and a gateway. Use the local control panel to configure ethernet port ETH1
so that you can connect to the GV Node online.

GV Node is shipped with the following default settings:

System IP address

192.168.3.1

Network mask

255.255.0.0

Gateway

0.0.0.0
