1.2 Unpacking Instructions
Immediately upon receiving a fixture, carefully unpack the carton, check the contents to ensure that all
parts are present, and have been received in good condition. Notify the shipper immediately and retain
packing material for inspection if any parts appear damaged from shipping or the carton itself shows
signs of mishandling. Save the carton and all packing materials. If a fixture must be returned to the
factory, it is important that the fixture be returned in the original factory box and packing.

USAGE
•
Before energizing the garland, all lamps must be screwed in first. Never use the garland until all
sockets have been fitted with a light. Turn the lamps in until you feel resistance. There is no need to
apply force to the lamps.
•
The lamps can be hung, but each socket (dual or triple socket) must be individually supported. In
practice, an attachment to a steel cable is the simplest solution, unless you can hook up somewhere
per socket.
•
The IP connections provide IP65 protection, mind you, all classic plugs must be provided with a casing
if they also want IP65 protection. The IP65 protection therefore only starts after the plug. The IP value
of the plug connection will depend on the type of socket it is plugged into.
•
The garlands can be extended with the waterproof couplings, up to a total consumption of 6A, or 1320
Watt. So, you add up the wattage of all lamps, and you may not exceed the total wattage of 1320 Watt
(at 220V).
•
It is necessary to place the end stop in order to obtain correct protection.
