4.2.7 VOLTAGE METER ADJUST (R61)
1) Set the meter selector switch to N A.
2) Adjust F.S. potentiometer R61 until the DUT front panel voltage meter indicates the same as theDVM.
3) Repeat 4.2.6 and 4.2.7 for N B and N C.
4.2.8 CURRENT METER ADJUST (I-METER R58)
1) Set the circuit breaker to OFF .
2) Set the OUTPUT switch to OFF .
3) Turn the VOLTS control fully ccw.
4) Connect a test load to OUTPU T terminals N A and NEUT .
5) Connect an AC current clamp or other current measuring device to measure phase A load current.
6) Set the circuit breaker to ON .
7) Set the OUTPUT switch to ON .
8) Set the meter selector switch to N A
9) Adjust the VOLTS control, making certain it does exceed 50 amps, to 100 VRMS. Increase load until
current reading on the measuring device is about 50 amps.
10) Adjust I-METER potentiometer R58 on N A board until the front panel current meter indication is same
as load current noted in step 9.
11) Repeat 4.2.8 for N B and N C .
4.2.9 20 KHz TRIANGLE WAVE TRIM (DIST. TRM R34)
1) Turn the VOLTS control fully ccw.
2) Connect an oscilloscope across output terminals N A and NEUT
3) Set the oscilloscope gain to 500 mV/div.
4) Adjust DIST. TRIM potentiometer R34 for the smallest “ripple” waveform peak-to-peak value.
4.2.10 LINE DROP COMPENSATION TRIM
1
) Connect selected load to OUTPUT terminals N A and NEUT .
2) Connect a DVM at the load terminals so as to measure the I/R voltage drop from the connecting lines.
3) Set circuit breaker to ON . Set the OUTPUT switch to off. Set the meter to phase A.
4) Adjust the VOLTS control to desired setting as displayed on the DUT front panel.
5) Set OUTPUT switch to ON and note the voltage displayed on the DVM at the load.
6) Adjust front panel N A I.R. COMP potentiometer so that voltage at the load matches the value set in step 4.
8) Repeat 4.2.10 for N B and N C.
