1.6 Transport and storage
Please keep original packaging for reshipment, e.g. in case of repair. Damage in transit is
not covered by warranty.
The product has to be stored in an enclosed and dry space. Handle the unit with
care during transport to avoid damage.
Store the product outside of the reach of unauthorized persons, e.g. children.
If the product is moved at extreme temperature differences (
≥
20°C), an acclima-
tization time of at least 2 hours is necessary before connecting it to the mains.
1.7 Introduction and product description
The FZ03/1 welding set was specifically developed for the overlap welding of polyester
and polyurethane sections. The Z welding paddle included features a fast heating-up time,
easy and ergonomic handling as well as its fail-safe operation. The device is ideally suited
for use in maintenance and servicing, as well as for workshop production.
The guide unit FZ03/1 features the following properties:
• Professional and easy-to-operate guide pliers for the overlap welding of tie-beam rein-
forced sections.
• Complete tool-free adjustment of welding position for welding with the Z
• Uniform contact pressure over the complete welding surface of the section for perfect
welding quality
• Area of application for round belts of 6-20 mm and for V-belts of 8x5 mm to 32x20 mm.
The welding paddle EErgo-Z features the following properties:
• More rugged, glass-fibre-reinforced and ergonomic handle.
• Special Z paddle for overlap welding with guide unit FZ03/1.
• Correct temperature adjustment thanks to pre-defined buttons for each weld material
(polyurethane 285 °C / polyester 240 °C)
• Precise and stable temperature control for avoidance of temperature fluctuations under
different welding conditions
