4.3.1 DC voltage measurements
1. Turn s elector s witch (2) “ V “.
2. Plug the b lack te s t lead into the “COM“ s ocket and the red lead
into the “+“ s ocket.
3. Connect the pro b e s to the UUT and read the di s play.
If the di s play i s not vi s i b le during mea s urement, pre ss “HOLD“
b utton (3) to retain the di s play. the pro b e s can then b e removed
from the conductor and the s tored value read.

4.4 Frequency measurements
WARNING !
Never mea s ure in unin s ulated conductor s carrying more than
250 V !
DANGER !
Do not connect more than 750 V AC or 1000 V DC to the input
s ocket s . Exceeding the s e value s can endanger the operator, and
may re s ult in damage to the in s trument.

Before s witching to a new function, di s connect pro b e s from the
UUT.
DANGER !
Only handle te s t lead s and pro b e s on the grip s provided. Avoid
touching the pro b e s under any circum s tance s .
With the UNITEST Clamp Meters you can mea s ure frequency in
b oth the current and voltage mode s .
1. Turn s elector s witch (2) to “Hz“..
2. Mea s urement in current mode ( Clamp Meter CHB 35 only ):
open the clamp, and clo s e it round the conductor.
Make s ure that the clamp properly encircle s the conductor, and
that there i s no air gap b etween the jaw s .
