Preparations
Vacuum hose
Connecting (see Fig . A1)
Push the connecting piece of the
‹
vacuum hose (6) into the appliance
socket (8) until the lock clicks into
place.
Removing
Keep the button on the upper part of
‹
the connecting piece pressed and pull
the vacuum hose (6) out at the same
time.
Telescopic tube
Connecting (see Fig . A2)
Push on the upper end of the tele-
‹
scopic tube (3) tightly on to the handle
(5) of the vacuum hose (6).
Removing
The telescopic tube (3) can be re-
‹
moved again by twisting and pulling
the handle slightly.
Setting the length (see Fig . A3) .
Undo the telescopic tube lock by
‹
pushing the slide (2) to the bottom
and keep it pressed.
Pull the telescopic tube (3) to the de-
‹
sired length.
For locking, release the slide (2)
‹
again.
Reversible floor brush
Connecting (see Fig . A4)
Push the floor brush (1) on to the
‹
lower end of the telescopic tube (3).
Switching over (see Fig . A5)
The floor brush can be set to two types of
floor:
Hard floors Wall-to-wall car-
peting
Set the selector switch (10) according
‹
to the floor.
Removing
The floor brush can be removed again
‹
by twisting and pulling slightly.
Gap head
Connecting (see Fig . A6)
Remove the gap head (24) from han-
‹
dle (5).
Push the gap head (24) on to the end
‹
of the telescopic tube (3) or on to the
grip handle (5) of the vacuum hose.
Removing
By slight turning and pulling, the gap
‹
head can be removed again.
NOTE
Return the gap head (24) to the ►
handle (5) after use.
Combined nozzle
NOTE
The combined nozzle can be used ►
as a furniture brush as well as an
upholstery brush. When used as an
upholstery brush, the brush attach-
ment has to be removed.
Connecting (see Fig . A7)
Remove the combination nozzle (25)

from handle (5).
Push the combination nozzle (25)
‹
on to the end of the telescopic tube
(3) or on to the grip handle (5) of the
vacuum hose.
