Maintenance
Soak the sponge in
engine oil, then
squeeze the engine
oil out of the sponge.
Wash the sponge in
nonflammable or high
flashpoint solvent
A dirty air cleaner will restrict air flow to the Air-
Fuel Mixer. To prevent Air-Fuel Mixer
malfunction, service the air cleaner regularly.
Service more frequently when operating the
generator in extremely dusty areas.
Engine – Clean Air Filter
Disport the sponge of air filter
Open the air cleaner cover
Never use gasoline or low flash point solvents
for cleaning the air cleaner element. A fire or
explosion could be result in.
Never run the generator without the air cleaner.
Rapid engine wear may be result in.

1.
Remove the snap-on cover holding the air
filter to the assembly.
2.
Remove the foam element.
3.
Wash in liquid detergent and water. Use
an air compressor (25 PSI) to clear dirt
and debris from the engine.
4.
Squeeze in a clean, absorbent cloth to
remove al excess oil.
5.
Place the filter in the assembly. Reattach
the air filter cover and snap in place.

DO NOT spray engine with water, water can contaminate the fuel system.
2.
Use a damp cloth to clean exterior surfaces of the engine.
3.
Use a soft bristle brush to remove dirt and oil.
4.
Use an air compressor (25 PSI) to clear dirt and debris from the engine.
5.
Inspect all air vents and cooling slots to ensure that they are clean and unobstructed.
