use alcohol or cleaning agents containing alcohol or other organic solvents as
these vapours will damage the electrochemical sensor inside.

Under

circumstances should the instrument be immersed or splashed with liquid.
•
Ensure the unit is properly charged before taking a breath test.
•
Breath tests must
ONLY
be carried out with the correct Bedfont® accessories. Failure to
do so will cause incorrect readings and may invalidate your warranty.

The vent holes on the rear of the unit must
NEVER
be covered during normal use.
Covering the vent holes may cause incorrect readings.

attempt to modify the equipment in any way. Any attempt to do so will
