Recharging the Clippers
1. Remove the clippers, power adapter and accessories from the
package.
2. Place the clippers on the charging base, plug the power adapter into
an electrical outlet at the correct voltage. Turn the clippers off when
charging is in progress.
3. Fully charging the clippers will take about 150 minutes. Please fully
charge the clippers before using them for the first time. During
charging, the charging indicator will illuminate red. The charging
indicator will turn green when fully charged.
4. The clippers can be used during charging. The red LED light will turn
green during use.
5. Once the battery is fully charged, discharge it completely through
normal use and then recharge it again fully. Maximum battery
capacity will only be reached after several charge/discharge cycles.
6. When the clippers are not in use, they may be connected to the
power adapter and plugged into an outlet to assure maximum
power is available when next used. This power adapter is designed
to charge the clippers' battery without overcharging.
Note:
• The best environmental temperatures for changing are 59°F to 95°F (15°C
to 35°C).
• The power adapter automatically adapts to any worldwide AC voltage
(from 100 to 240V).
• Unplug the adapter from the wall and the clipper’s DC-IN port when not
in use.
Attaching The Guide Combs
Align each comb onto the blades, then press down until the comb
clicks into place.
Removing The Guide Combs
Lift up each comb’s side tab to release it from the blades.
Adjusting The Blades
These clippers are equipped with a
'taper lever' switch to adjust blade
length. This switch is conveniently
located at the back of the clippers
so the blades can be easily adjusted
while the clippers are held. The taper
switch adds versatility to the clippers,
allowing gradual changes in closeness of cutting without using a guide
comb. With this switch in the uppermost position, push the switch
downward gradually to increase cutting length. Cutting length will
extend an additional 0.5mm for every switch position moved, will total
lengths of 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, and 2.5mm.
