Select the fields to be removed in the External Format - SWIFT UI and click
the Remove Selected Fields button in the toolbar. The fields are removed from
the format.

Sequences can also be removed by clicking this button. But sub-fields cannot be
removed.

A field can also be removed by clicking the Remove button in the Create Field
or Modify Field dialog.
