3-6 Advanced Chipset Features
The Advanced Chipset Features Setup option is used to change the values of the chipset registers.
These registers control most of the system options in the computer.

On-Chip Frame Buffer Size
Frame Buffer is the video memory that stores data for video display (frame). This field is used to
determine the memory size for Frame Buffer. Larger frame buffer size increases video performance.
DVMT Mode
Use this field to select the mode of the digital monitor used. Available options: [Fixed Mode][DVMT
Mode][Both].
DVMT/FIXED Memory Size
Specify the size of DVMT memory to allocate for video memory.
NOTE:
It is not recommended to change these settings unless the user is familiar
with the chipset.
