DANGER

FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS COULD RESULT IN FIRE OR EXPLOSION WHICH COULD
CAUSE PROPERTY DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH.

• Never lean over grill when lighting.  DO NOT wear loose clothing or allow hair to come in contact

with grill.

• Use caution when opening the lid since flames can flare-up when fresh air suddenly comes in

contact with fire.  When opening the lid, keep hands, face and body a safe distance from
hot steam and flame flare-ups.

Close supervision is required keeping children and pets away from hot grill. Touching extremely hot
grill can cause severe burns.

• This is an ATTENDED appliance. DO NOT leave this grill unattended while heating charcoal,

cooking food or when hot after use. Grill can remain at high temperatures long after cooking
has ended.

• Do NOT attempt to move a hot grill when in use. Allow the grill to cool to ambient temperature

before moving or storing.

• Do not leave hot grill unattended until the grill cools completely.
• Do not remove hot ashes until all charcoal is completely and fully extinguished and cool.

Live hot briquets and coals can create a fire and burn hazard.  Allow 24 hours for ash and coals
to cool down before removing from  grill.

• Extinguished coals and ashes should be placed a safe distance from all structures and combustible

materials.

• With a garden hose, completely wet the surface beneath and around grill to extinguish any ashes,

coals or embers which may have fallen during the cooking or cleaning process.

• Always wear protective gloves and shoes when adding charcoal to retain desired heat level.

Think safety and use common sense when operating your grill.

WARNING

• Use ONLY on level, flat, stable non-combustible surfaces like concrete or brick.  Do NOT use this

grill on any surface that will burn or melt like wood, asphalt, vinyl, or plastic.

• Check to make sure the air dampers are free of debris and ash before and while you are using

the grill.

• Never touch cooking food, charcoal grate or the grill to see if they are hot.  Do not touch

metal parts of grill until it has completely cooled (about 90 min. after grilling) to avoid burns, unless
you are wearing protective gear (flame retardant insulating grill mitt).

• Use flame retardant insulating grill mitts or flame retardant hot pads to protect hands while cooking

or adjusting the dampers.

• Use proper barbecuing tools with long, heat-resistant handles.
• This grill is NOT intended to be installed in or on recreational vehicles and/or boats.
• Keep all electrical cords away from a hot grill during use.  Carefully handle and store hot electric

starters.

• To extinguish the coals, close the lid onto the base then completely close both dampers top and side.
