KEY FUNCTION
ON/OFF
Turn on/off power of the balance
FUNCTION
Call up menu (keep key pressed un!l UNIT appears)
SET/TARE
- Confirm se#ngs in the menu.
- Save and exit menu.
- Tare weight.
UNIT/COUNT
- Select weighing unit.
- Change se•ngs in the menu.
- Parts coun•ng.
HOLD/PRINT
- Display hold.
- Calculate weighing data via interface.
- Change se•ngs in the menu.
ZERO Zero balance.
4 . 1 . W E I G H I N G
Turn on the balance using the >
ON/OFF
key.
The balance will perform self-test for few seconds. When the zero display appears, the balance is >
ready for operations.
Important: If the display not showing zero, press the ZERO key.
Place objects onto the center of pan. Take care that the weighed material should not touch the >
balance housing.
Now the weight is displayed. Once the reading is stable, the weighing unit (e.g. >
g
or
kg
) will appear
on the right-hand side of the display.
If the objects are heavier than the weighing capacity, the display will show >
Error
(=overload).
4 . 2 . TA R I N G
Turn on the balance using the > ON/OFF OFF key and wait for the
ZERO
display.
Put the tare vessel on the weighing plate and press the > SET/TARE. key. The balance display goes to
zero. The weight of the vessel is now saved.
The taring process can be repeated any number of times, e.g. when adding several components for a >
mixture (adding).
The limit is reached when the total weight reaching full capacity of the balance. After removing the >
taring vessel, the total weight is displayed as negative reading.
After finishing the weighing process, press the > SET/TARE key again, the balance display goes back to
ZERO
.
4 . 3 . P R E • TA R E F U N C T I O N
Using this function the weight of a tare vessel can be stored.
This value also remains saved if the balance meanwhile has been switched off and switched on again.
Turn on balance using the > ON/OFF key and wait for the zero display.
Put tare vessel on the weighing plate. Press the >
UNIT/COUNT
key until balance displays

Press the >
UNIT/COUNT
key 6 times until
PtArE
flashes on the display. By actuating the
SET/TARE
key,
the current weight on the weighing plate is saved as PRE-Tara weight.
To switch off this function, unload the weighing plate. Press > ZERO key if display is not showing zero.
Press the > UNIT/COUNT key until balance displays

Press the >
UNIT/COUNT
key 6 times until
PtArE
flashes on the display. By actuating the
SET/TARE
key,
the stored PRE-Tare weight is deleted.
