3.0 Arranging the Coals
1 . The following procedure assumes all the coals
and front and rear supports are to be fitted . If not
all the coals require replacement, refer to the
diagrams and determine at wh i ch point you need
to commence .
2 . The side cheeks should be fitted between the
burner chassis assembly and the rear light
shield, their contoured faces innermost (F i g . 2 ) .
3. Locate the rear coal support beh i nd the two
tabs on the combustion box rear panel . The
ridged part of the support must be to the front
and uppermost (Fig. 3).
4 . Place the front coal support on the cont r ols
mounting frame between the forward flange a n d
rear tabs . The convex face of the support mus t
be to the front and the location pegs uppermost
(Fig . 4) .
5 . Place the flat face of coal C on the front
support with the two projections to the rea r and
resting on the rear support (Fig. 5) .
6. Coal D should be put to the left of coal C w it h
it ' s flat face downwards onto the fron t suppo r t
and the short projection to the rear (Fig. 6 ) .
7 . The flat face of coal E should be located on
the right extreme right hand peg of the fron t
support. The taller part of coal E should be t o the
left (Fig. 7 ) .
8 . Take coal F and insert it between the rear
facing projections of coal D and the rear suppo r t.
The wider part of the coal goes to the rear
(Fig. 8) .
9 . The narrow rounded end of coa l G fits in t o t he
like-shaped recess in coal E with the other end
resting on the rear support, it's flat face
downwards (Fig . 9) .
