tr ansfer heat to any wall surface against which they are situated .

room le v el s and the man u facturer ' s adv i ce should be sought before

Cave ndlsh Models - L i ft away the controls access door and
fender assembly away from the appliance . The pilot is visible
at th e l o wer r i ght hand side through t he coals. Push the
control l ever down as far as poss i ble to the ign i t i on position

appl y a match to the pilot and o n ce l it ho l d down for
twenty s e c onds .
Ki n g s t on & Belgravia Models - The pilot is visible through
the ri g ht hand part of the fender . It i s necessary to apply a
suitabl e li gh t through the fender. A wooden sp i ll is
recomm e n ded for th i s purpose . DO NOT USE a wa x taper or
paper as t hey may lead to blockage o f the p i lot assembly. Push
the contr o l lever down as far as possib l e to the i gnition position
(*),
a p p l y the light to the pilot and once lit hold down for twenty
seconds .

products and tha t t her e is no excessive build up of

6 . Any purpose prov i de d ventilation should be
chec k ed per i o dic a lly to ensure that it is free from
obstruction .
7 . Ensure that all pro t e c t ive plastic coati n g is

If a gas leak is found or suspected , turn off the gas
supp ly a t the m et e r i m m e diately and contact your
Ins t alle r or Br iti sh Ga s Emergency ( u nder 'Gas' in the
phone directory) .
