DESCRIPTION AND WEAR APPLICATION
The Rigid Gas Permeable and PMMA Contact Lenses are indicated for daily wear for the correction of refractive ametropia
(myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, and presbyopia) in aphakic and non-aphakic persons with non-diseased eyes.
The lenses may be prescribed in otherwise non-diseased eyes that require a rigid contact lens for the management of
irregular corneal conditions such as keratoconus, pellucid marginal degeneration, or following penetrating keratoplasty or
refractive (e.g., LASIK) surgery.
The Boston® XO and Boston® XO
2
contact lenses may also be suitable for an orthokeratology fitting program for the
temporary reduction of myopia of up to 5.00 diopters in non-diseased eyes.
The Boston® EO contact lens may also be suitable for an orthokeratology fitting program for the temporary reduction of
myopia of up to 3.00 diopters in non-diseased eyes.
The Equalens™ contact lens is indicated for daily wear or extended wear from 1 to 7 days between removals for cleaning
and disinfection as recommended by the eye care practitioner. It is also indicated for extended wear for the correction of

+12.00D to -20.00D.

CARING FOR YOUR LENSES
• Cleaning and disinfecting your lenses between uses is essential for healthy eyes
• Use only Rigid Gas Permeable contact lens care products following the manufacturer’s instructions
• Always use fresh, unexpired lens care solutions
• Do not use other solutions such as tap or bottled water or saliva to rinse, store, or re-wet lenses
• Always keep lenses completely immersed in the recommended solution when not being worn
• Never use sharp objects or finger nails to remove lenses from their containers or your eyes
• Remember to clean your lens case whenever you clean your lenses
• Always discard lenses at the end of the wear schedule prescribed by your eye care practitioner
• For extended periods of storage, ensure lenses are cleaned and completely dried and stored in a clean lens case without
lens care solution. Thoroughly clean and condition lenses before reusing.
