Testing the out-
puts
We try for instance to execute the function at the digital output 1 (= Digital output link 1).

ProDrive navigation „IO digital outputs“.

In the project tree:
„Device/configuration/IO digital outputs/digital output link 2“.

In the window „Digital output link 2“, by the side of „Selection output“, select
„output D.2“ from the list, when the plug-in module is plugged in the slot D.

Observe the replica of the LED and the text „Output D.2 is low“ located by its side.

In the window „Digital output link 2“, click on the “...“-symbol, by the side of „source
parameter number“.
„IOs source parameter DO“ is opened in the window.

As in case of testing the digital input, select the source parameter „1000 stipulated op-
erating mode desired from the list of the source parameter numbers and confirm with
Ok.
The window „IOs source parameter DO“ is closed.

In the window „Digital output link 2“, click on the “...“-symbol next to „bit-menu“ and en-
ter with „&h0008“ and Ok in the window which appears.
The window closes again and the preset value 0000 under „Bit-pattern“ remains un-
changed.
As described in case of testing the digital input, check now the change between HIGH-
LOW in the drive-manager dialog:

A window „b2 drive manager dialog“ will open.

Switch over now the digital input from HIGH to LOW, which also results in generating
a change over from HIGH to LOW by the parameter 1000 at the digital output via the
link. This can be noticed by change over from the stipulated operating mode of regu-
lation of rotational speed to „position control“.

Repeat the above steps for the „Digital output links 1, 3 and 4“.
This concludes the test commissioning of the
