Maintenance
For the most effective grass trimming, ensure the tool is operating at full speed and then
use slow shallow sweeps with the line, ensuring that you do not overload the tool by
cutting too fast or cutting through heavy ground.
Make sure that the work area is free of rocks, debris, wires, and other foreign objects.
Start the tool before approaching the grass to be cut.
Cut the grass by sliding the tool from right to left. Proceed slowly by keeping the trimmer
leaning forward at an angle of approximately 30 °. Light cuts are better than heavy cuts
as they allow the cut grass to fall away from the spool, preventing the grass from
clogging the spool.
The long grass should always be cut in layers starting from the top. Do not cut damp or
wet grass. Do not overload the tool. Avoid wearing the line out quickly by knocking
against hard objects (stones, walls, fences etc.).
Be careful of the kickback that can be produced by impact with hard objects.
After completing the cutting operation, keep the tool close to ground level, release the
trigger and allow the engine to come to a complete stop. Place the trimmer on the
ground and remove the battery.
For edging, rotate the engine head.
NOTE:
Remove regularly the grass remaining between the spool and the edge of the
guard to prevent the tool vibrates.
WARNING!
To prevent accidental starting, which could cause serious personal injury,
always remove the battery pack from the product before adjusting, inspecting, or
cleaning the tool.
Never disassemble the tool or carry out any repairs. Always have the string trimmer and
its charger maintained or repaired by a qualified person at an authorized service center.
