3. The sander can be connected to a domestic vacuum or a workshop extraction system
with a standard vacuum hose
Warning:
Turn off the sander and unplug form the inlet
1. Pull the Tension Belt Lever (8) up to release tension
in the belt and then remove the old or used belt
2. Check the replacement belt is in good condition and
has not frayed in the edges
3. Put the new belt in position with the rotary arrow inside the front of the belt and in the
same position of the arrow in the sander
4. Push the tension belt lever (8) to turn the tension in the belt
5. Plug the sander to the inlet and when you keep well tight, push the turn on/off switch
(1) and let the belt rotate for a short period of time
6. If the belt sander does not running at the same time
with the outside edge cover, the belt sander must be
aligned. Move the belt sander to the correct position
with the Adjusting Knob Belt (7).
Rotate the adjustment knob (7) fully to the right - insert
the sheet of sandpaper and adjust the tension lever (8)
- at minimum speed to turn on the product, the
sandpaper will move towards the right - turn off and
turn the adjustment knob to the left and go by turning
on the tool, as the knob is rotated toward the left, the
sand will move to the left, repeat the process until the
sheet of sandpaper this aligned with the roller. Run the
sander for a minute before use in a work piece.
SETTING A SANDING SHEET
Different sanding sheet levels can buy in any hardware store. Typical levels are thick (40
grit), medium (80 and 100 grit) and fine (120 grit).
Use a thick level belt to remove rough endings, use the medium level to grade the work
and the fine level to ending. Always is better doing a test over a disposable piece of
material to determine the suitable level of the sander sheet for a particular work. In order
to obtain the best perform and get ahead of your sander, it is recommended always buy
belt sanders of good quality

After sand down with the belt sander, is recommended use a rotary sander or
orbital to give a better ending to the surface.

WARNING:
If you detect that the belt sander is damaged or wasted, stop the
tool immediately and do not use it
WARNING:
Do not use the same belt sander for wood and steel. Steel
particles will impregnate in the belt, which provoke that the surface of the
wood will erode
