3.6.1.2 Setting the Gain with Vertical Binning Enabled
If you know the decimal number (DN) setting for the gain on your camera, the equivalent decibel
value can be calculated using the following equation.
If the Vertical Binning feature is enabled, the gain settings result in the following amplifications:

In normal operation, a gain setting lower than 144 (0x0090) should not be used.
When the gain setting is lower than 144, the sensor output signal that is mapped to
the input of the ADC will not be linear.
