Contraindications
For use in an orthosis where the joint is fully loaded as with a tuber
support. No other contra-indications are known.
General safety instructions

Risk of injury due to deviate from the joint selection parameters: with
product selection e.g. patient body weight and activity level is to be taken
into account. The product is for single patient use only.
Risk of injury due to overload: if the product has been exposed to extreme
loads, it has to be checked by a specialists on all it’s functionalities.
Risk of injury due to incorrect alignment, assembly or adjustment: when
assembling the joints, these should be aligned correctly in the frontal /
sagittal plane in order to ensure a smooth movement of the joints.
Risk of injury due to improper usage: prior to delivery of the orthosis to
it‘s user the joint in all it‘s functions should be checked by the professional.
Additionally, the patient and/or care giver must be instructed how to apply
the orthosis correctly and be demonstrated the functionalities. Settings may
only be done/altered by a professional.
Risk of injury due to incorrect environmental conditions: Do not expose
the joint to temperatures below -10° C or above + 60° C. Avoid contact with
abrasive materials such as sand and dust. Avoid storage with condensing
ambient humidity. Avoid direct exposure to heat.
Loss of function due to thermal overload of components: prior to
thermal processing of the product, remove all components which do not
withstand thermal processing (e.g. plastic parts).
