To shorten the Red/White/

Blue inner line, lean in slightly, 

reducing the tension on the line 

and pull the end of the rope 

toward the pole.

To lengthen the inner line, lean 

in slightly removing the tension 

on the line, and with the thumb 

inside the carabiner, push the 

eye of the cam forward, and 

slide the adjustor down the rope 

as needed.

Practice these movements, 

including connecting and 

adjusting the Patriot™, on 

the ground before adding the 

distraction of climbing.

CAUTION! Remove your thumb from the cam before placing your weight 

back on the line.
