3. Intended use
The thermal imaging camera is a handy tool to visually detect high and low temperature with
both heat-mapped colour palettes and actual temperature reading. This easy-to-use thermal
camera displays and saves images that can be reviewed later from a microSD card. With a
broad temperature range of -20°C to 450°C, this versatile tool can be used for a wide variety of
automotive, industrial, electrical and home applications.
It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture, e.g. in bathrooms,
must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use
the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In
addition, improper use can result in short circuits, fires, electric shocks or other hazards. Read
the instructions carefully and store them in a safe place. Make this product available to third
parties only together with its operating instructions.

After unpacking the unit, inspect carefully for any damage that may have occurred during transit.
Check for loose, missing, or damaged parts. If any damage is observed, a shipping damage
claim must be filed with the carrier.
DO NOT use the thermal imaging camera if broken, bent, cracked, or damaged parts (including
labels) are noted. Any product that appears damaged in any way, operates abnormally or with
missing parts should be removed from service immediately. If you suspect that the thermal
imaging camera was subjected to shock load (a load that was dropped suddenly, unexpectedly,
etc.), immediately discontinue use until it has been checked by a factory authorized service
centre.
