Firmware update
Unlike the traditional chipset-based receiver architecture, the firmware in the Stamp Module is
easily updateable.
4.4.1
Organize the necessary files
•
Download
btifw006.zip
, the Stamp Module firmware, at Stamp Module product
webpage at https://www.basebandtech.com/stamp
•
Unzip btifw006.zip and save the
btifw006.gc
file to the folder with gpsconsole.exe
(in the example above, we created a folder named “
RefDesign
” under the user’s
Desktop)
•
Refer to section 3.2, a “
loadkey_XX-XX-XX-XX.gc
” file (where “XX-XX-XX-XX” is the
DeviceID or the board device identification number) was emailed to you as part of
the authorization process. You will need this file to update the firmware. If you
cannot locate this file, the easiest way is to go through the authorization process
again. A new “loadkey_XX-XX-XX-XX.log” file will be emailed to you shortly.
4.4.2

•
To reconnect the Stamp Module, repeat the same procedure as outlined in section
