Indications for Melting Fat in Cubes (Blocks)
in the Deep-Fat Fryer
1. Remove the basket from the basin.
2. Place the fat in cube (block) directly on the cover of the heating element, so that
it is covered.
3. Connect the appliance to a single grounded socket.
The green power indicator light in the ON/OFF switch lights up.
The digital display in the push rotary control knob shows
'OIL'
, to check the
condition of oil in the basin.
4. Rotate the push rotary control knob, until
'ooo'
is shown in the digital display.
This is the
melting point position
.
5. To start the melting process, briefly press the push rotary control knob.
6. Wait for the fat in cube (block) to melt.
7. When the heating element is covered with liquid fat, the push rotary control knob
may be rotated and set to maximum temperature setting.
8. Place subsequent blocks of fat for melting in the basin, until the right filling level
is reached.
9. Then rotate the controller to set the temperature.
ATTENTION!
Fat in cubes (blocks) that has coagulated in the deep-fat fryer may be
heated up and melted only with the melting point function of the
appliance.
In the Separate Basin
1. To get the fat in cubes (blocks) faster in liquid form, there is a possibility of
melting it in a separate container (e.g., a pot) on a hob.
2. Then, pour the melted fat into the deep-fryer's basin.
