5.2 Installation and connection
•
Discard the complete packing material after unpacking the device.
•
Place the device on top of an even and safe surface which supports the weight of
the device.
•
Choose a surface where the ice cube maker is not exposed to direct sunlight, or
close to a direct source of heat such as a cooker, oven or radiator.
•
Make sure that there is at least 15 cm distance between the back and the sides of
the device and the wall or other objects.
•
Let the cooling agent settle for an hour. Only then plug in the device.
•
If the ice cube maker is kept outside during the winter and then taken inside for use,
please let it warm up to room temperature before plugging it in.
•
The electrical circuit in the socket must be secured to at least 16A. Only connect the
device directly to the wall socket; do not use any extension cords or power strips.
•
Place the device so that the plug is easily accessible and can be quickly removed
from its socket in case of necessity.
5.3 Operating
•
Wipe down the outside and the inside of the device with a soft cloth and warm water.
Remove the ice cube basket and clean it.
•
Connect the device to an earthed single wall outlet.
•
Select the size of the ice cubes by pressing
(S = small
; M = medium
;
L = large
). The preset setting stays active until you make a different selection.
The standard setting is M (medium).
•
If the room temperature exceeds 16° C, we recommen d selecting size S (small) or
M (medium) to prevent the ice cubes from sticking together.
•
Open the cover, remove the ice cube basket and fill water into the water container to
just below the marking.
•
Press
on the control panel to start the production process.
•
The water is pumped from the water tank to the water dish (approx. 40 sec.).
•
Ice cubes form on the 12 vaporizers (6 to 14 minutes).
