6.  After using the kitchen scale, disconnect it from the socket (pull the plug out).

Calibration

The calibration may be necessary, when the appliance is installed for the first time
and it was transported over long distances prior.

This is indispensable, when the mass weight in one location must be identical with
the mass weight in another location. Also, over time and due to wear and tear,
some mechanical discrepancies may occur.

1.  Switch the appliance off before entering the calibration mode.

2.  After approx. of 1 minute, the kitchen scale must be switched off.

3.  To switch the kitchen scale back on, press and hold

“ and „ “ concurrently.

4.  Release the keys.

After a self-test, the appliance enters the calibration mode, and

„CAL“ is displayed

on the digital display. 2 seconds la

ter, the digital display shows „0.000“ or a value

used for the purpose of conducting the previous calibration.

The displayed value may be changed.

5.

Press the „

“ or „ “ key continuously, until the correct value for a given

calibration mass is shown.

6.  Then put the the object with the mass shown on the weighing platform, until the

„ “ stability indication is shown on the digital display.

7.  Press and hold the

“ key, until the calibration mass appears.

When the mass adopted for the purpose of the calibration, the process is finished.

If it falls in the range of ±10% of the introduced mass,

„Err c“ will be displayed on

the digital display.

8.  Then, repeat the calibration.

Charging the rechargeable battery

When the

“ rechargeable battery charging indication is shown on the digital

display, the rechargeable battery is not charged to a sufficient level and must be
immediately charged.

1.  Connect the kitchen scale to mains power supply with the mains adapter.

If the kitchen

scale is still being used, the „

“ symbol blinks on the digital display

and the kitchen scale will switch off automatically.

If following a prolonged period of charging the kitchen scale does not work without
the mains adapter, the rechargeable adapter exhausted.
