Alternative or non-standard alternators will require calibrating and checking by trial and error,
with a hand held tacho until the engine speed and indicated tachometer speed are the same.
17. Calorifiers (Optional)
These are not fitted as standard but are available as an option
If calorifiers are fitted the following instructions must be complied with:
The temperature of coolant flowing to the calorifier from the engine can be between 85 and
90°C. A blender valve must be incorporated in the calorifier / hot water system outlet to lower
the hot water temperature for domestic use.
