Children must not play with the device.
CAUTION: Hot Surfaces!
The device will become very hot during use. It is essen-
tial to make sure that no heated parts, in particular the
jug and hotplate, are touched while using and after using
the device. Only touch the handles and controls while the
device is in operation or immediately after it has been
switched off. Only transport, clean or store away the de-
vice when it has cooled down completely.

Never immerse the device and the connecting cable in water or
other liquids and ensure that they cannot fall into water or be-
come wet. There is a danger of electric shock from water.

Never exceed the maximal

ll level. If the water tank is over-
fi
lled, the jug could over
fl
ow and the bottom of the device and
connecting cable could become wet.
■
The device must always be disconnected from the mains power
when it is left unattended and before transporting, assembling,
disassembling and cleaning the device.

Do not make any modi
fi
cations to the device. Also do not replace
the connecting cable yourself. If the device, the connecting ca-
ble or the accessories of the device are damaged, they must be
replaced by the manufacturer, customer service department or
a specialist workshop in order to avoid any hazards.
■
Never reach into the grinder of the device while the device is
connected to the mains power! Use a rinsing brush to clean the
grinder. Do not touch the blades with bare hands. There is a
danger of injury due to sharp blades.

The device is not designed to be operated with an external timer
or a separate remote control system.
