C
Tilting in portrait mode (90° with the Input & Communication unit facing downward)
Only the previously mentioned normal mode tilting and portrait mode tilting is allowed. Other positions are not
allowed.
Take into account that the projector feet are unable to achieve the maximum allowed tilt angles. Use
an external mechanical frame that allows to tilt the projector within the allowed tilt ranges.
When using an external frame, make sure to remove the projector feet and replace them with
screws of M16 x 200 to mechanically connect the projector with the frame. Make sure these screws
are long enough to secure the projector to the frame AND leave an open space of minimum 50 mm
between frame and projector. The open space is necessary for the drains to evacuate any built up
condensation water.
4.5 Additional vertical shift of the Lens Holder
Introduction
The lens of the XDL can be shifted vertically. The maximum vertical shift range is
–
65 to +75%, which is not
sufficient in some situations. To extend the vertical shift range in a certain direction, the Lens Holder can be
shifted manually.
Extending the vertical shift range in a certain direction, will reduce the available range in the other direction.
This will result in the following lens shift:
•
Lens holder in highest position:
–
20 to +120%
•
Lens holder in neutral position:
–
65 to +75%
•
Lens holder in lowest position:
–
105 to +30%
