8.5.1 Introduction
About fi les
Before a new source can be used, a correct fi le has to installed. The projector’s memory contains a list of
fi les corresponding to the most used sources. When the source corresponds with one of these fi les, the
fi le can be loaded and saved for future use. When there is a little difference, the fi le can also be loaded
and then edited until the source specs are reached.
Types of source fi les
When opening the list of source fi les, you will recognize 2 types of source fi les:
• system source fi les (default available in the projector’s memory)
• custom source fi les
The custom source fi les with the same name of the system source fi les are indicated with a index number
between brackets.
8.5.2 Loading a fi tting input fi le
Load via Load icon
1. Select fi rst a window.
2. Click on Select fi le icon (a). (image 8-10)
The Load ( fi t) dialog box opens (b).
Only the best fi tting fi les are displayed. Files with a digit between brackets are custom source fi les. All
others are standard source fi les.
3. Select a fi le from the list (c).
4. Click Open or Select to load the selected fi le (d).
When a standard fi le is selected or a not exactly matching custom fi le, Projector Toolset will ask to
create a new custom fi le by copying the settings of the selected fi le into the custom fi le.
5. Click OK to continue.
The new created custom source fi le is loaded and can be edited if necessary
