On/Off switching
Overview
The way to switch your terminal on or off depends on the BIOS settings, con

gurable in the SDK. Please
refer to the SDK documentation for more information about the different on/off switching con

guration
options.
3.2
Service call
Overview
The optional service call button and status LED of the JAOHandset are internally wired to the RJ11 Service
Call connector which can be connected to the hospital’s internal network service call system.
The electrical signal of the service call button in the JAOHandset and the status LED of the JAOHandset
can be detected/controlled on the RJ11 Service Call connector of your JAO15 / JAO18. Please refer to the
connector pinout below for more details. The electrical signal requirements are available in the technical
speci
fi
cation tables of this user guide (see "Technical speci

The RJ11 connector may not be connected to a telephony or telecom net-
work and is for use only with the hospital’s internal network service call system
The service call button is optional and not present on all JAOHandset models.
