3.9 Activate legacy protocol

When is it necessary to activate Legacy protocol?
Legacy protocol must be activated when a third party equipment need to send API over Ethernet commands
to the SP4K projector using the legacy protocol as used on Series 2 projectors. A third party equipment could
be a TMS, an automation device, an IMB/IMS installed in the projector or any other equipment which need to
operate the SP4K projector. The commands available are controlling the basic features of the projector such
as Light ON/OFF, Dowser Open/Close, Execute Macro

How to activate Legacy protocol
1. Browse to the Web Communicator application and log in as administrator.
2. Click on tab Configuration and select System access .
3. While in Configuration > System acces s > Network configuration , check the check box in front of Allow
legacy protocol (reference 1).
