3. Cabling
3.4.2 IR Remote Control
The batteries are not yet inserted in the remote control to avoid remote control operation in its package, result-
ing in a shorter battery lifetime.
How to install the batteries:
•
Push the cover tab open
•
Insert 2 batteries of type AAA, making sure the polarities match the + and – marks inside the battery com-
partment.
•
Close the cover.
•
If the remote is going to be unused for long periods of time, be sure to remove the batteries to prevent
leakage, which could damage the remote control.
•
The liquid contents in the batteries is harmful to the skin; do not touch the leakage with your bare hands
directly. When installing fresh batteries, be sure to clean up the leakage thoroughly.
•
If the range of effective remote control signal reception decreases or if the remote control stops working,
replace the batteries.
Do not mix old and new batteries, as this
may damage the remote control.
