10. Card Cage

10.9 Replacing the PMP board

This procedure assumes that the Input & Communication unit is already removed from the projector.

Necessary tools

•

5.5mm nut driver.

•

2.5mm Allen wrench.

•

T10 Torx driver.

How to replace the PMP board from the Input & Communication unit?

1. Remove all input boards from the Input & Communication unit. See service procedure "Removal of an input module", page 146.

2. Remove the top cover of the Input & Communication unit. Use a 5.5mm nut driver to loosen the four nuts (reference 1 im-

age 10-22) and use a 2.5mm Allen wrench to loosen the eight screws at the sides and the rear (reference 2 image 10-22).

3. Disconnect the gray

at cable (reference 1 image 10-23) and red cable (reference 2 image 10-24) from the PMP board.
