If you need to set the Total Volume and Sample Volume, press the

key until the option shows "ON". Press the

OUR/SOUR Measurement

The A180 meter contains an application for the calculation of Oxygen
Uptake Rate (OUR) and Specific Oxygen Uptake Rate (SOUR). Before
the measurement, make sure that the OUR or SOUR parameters have
been set to desired values.

OUR/SOUR Parameters

Sample ID

Set the sample ID to associate reading with the data log.

0000 to 9999

Default 0000

Sample Volume

Set the sample volume.

Default 100 ml

Total Volume

Set the total volume of sample.

Default 100 ml

Minimum Testing Time

Set the minimum time of measurement. When the minimum time is
reached, the measurement will start.

Default 1 minute

Maximum Testing Time

Set the maximum time of measurement. When the maximum time is
reached, the measurement will end.

Default 5 minutes

Minimum Beginning DO

Set the minimum dissolved oxygen value allowed at the start of the
measurement.

Default 0.00 mg/L

Minimum Ending DO

Set the minimum dissolved oxygen value allowed during the
measurement. If the measured value falls below this value, the
measurement will end.

Default 0.00 mg/L

Solids Weight

Set the total solids or volatile suspended solids concentration of the
sample.

Default 1.00 g/L

SOUR@20° C

This option is applied to the SOUR measurement only. If enabled, the
readings will automatically reference to 20° C.
