Reading guide
The error tree shown below is intended
as an aid in connection with servicing
BeoSound 9000, because the product
has a number of functions that are
dependent on each other.
The error tree is a guideline, and it
is based on troubleshooting procedures
at module level. The modules which
are listed as defective are the modules
which contain the faulty function. Since
the signals in BeoSound 9000 are often
Connect PL speakers. (Or
connect pin 2 & 4 in the
PL plug). Connect to mains.

NOTE:
The glass lid must either be on, or the hinge for
the lid must be in the open position.
In a fault situation the sledge may be unable to
move to its end stop (CD 1 position).
End stop detection is important for the
microprocessor when powering up the product.
Therefore the sledge should manually be
brought to the end stop position (the sledge is
released in TEST MODE 72).

Il diagramma errori illustrato di seguito
costituisce un ausilio nelle operazioni di
assistenza su BeoSound 9000, poiché
l’apparecchio presenta molte funzioni
interdipendenti.
Il diagramma errori rappresenta una
guida e si basa sulle procedure della
ricerca guasti a livello di moduli. I
moduli elencati come difettosi sono i
moduli che contengono le funzioni
errate. Poiché i segnali in BeoSound
9000 spesso sono collegati ad anello
mediante altri moduli, occorre
controllare anche i percorsi dei segnali
per i moduli.
NOTA:
Il coperchio di vetro deve essere aperto oppure
la cerniera del coperchio deve essere in
posizione di apertura. In una situazione di
errore, è possibile che la slitta non sia in grado
di spostarsi verso l’arresto fi ne (posizione CD 1).
La rivelazione dell’arresto fi ne è importante per
il microprocessore durante l’accensione
dell’apparecchio.
Quindi la slitta deve essere portata
manualmente nella posizione di arresto fi ne (la
slitta è rilasciata in TEST MODE 72).
