7. Maintenance
For proper functioning of the boot elevator type “David 2” it is important to
have regular maintenance work done. Comply with the schedule below.
Never do work on the boot elevator type “David 2” if you do not have the
required knowledge and authority.
MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE

Check the condition of the hoisting cord.
Please note: when the cord is frayed due to wear,
you should contact the supplier to have the cord
replaced!! Each time the elevator is used
General maintenance Every 12 months
Checking the hoisting cord:
Take the switch in your hand, hold the hoisting cord taut and unroll the cord
completely.
Check the cord for wear.
In case the Kevlar of the cord (inner core) is visible, you should contact the supplier
immediately to have the hoisting cord replaced.
Please note ! that during hoisting the motor turns to the right in
the left-sided version or to the left in the right-sided version, as
a result of which the hoisting cord is wound up at the rear side
of the drum wheel.
