13 Filter
All safe digital input modules are equipped with separately configurable switch-on and switch-off filters. The func-
tionality of the filters depends on the firmware version and is illustrated in the following table and figures:

input_signal: Status of the input channel

filtered_signal: Filtered status of the input channel. This is used as an input for the PLCopen function block
and forwarded to the SafeLOGIC controller

t_off_intern: Internal parameter (5 ms) for suppressing "external" test pulses (only with
"Pulse Mode = External")
