• When the burner is operating in the 1st stage, adjust the amount
of air necessary to ensure an efficient combustion, see “AIR
ADJUSTMENT ON THE BURNER HEAD” and 0002938170 for the
gas- diesel 1st stage cam adjustment.
• After adjusting the 1st stage air the burner stops disconnecting the
current from the main switch, the electric circuit commanding the
second stage activation closes connecting the 4-pole connector
according to the wiring diagram.
• Adjust the quantity of air necessary for the maximum flow rate (2nd
stage) through the screw/s (12) at the bearing (13).
- clockwise rotation: the air flow increases
- in an anti-clockwise direction the air flow decreases
• Now the equipment is activated again and moves to the second
stage automatically, according to the program set by the
programmer.
• With the equipment operating in the 2nd stage, adjust the amount
of air necessary to ensure efficient combustion, using appropriate
instruments.If suitable instruments are not available, look at the
flame colour.
• We recommend that the adjustment is performed so as to obtain
a soft light orange flame; avoid red flames with smoke and white
flames with an excess of air.Make the air regulation so as to obtain
a certain amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the smoke, varying
from min. 10% to max. 13% with a smoke number not exceeding 2
(Bacharach scale).
