AIR REGULATION ON THE COMBUSTION HEAD
The burner is supplied with the following combustion head
regulation:
• head/disk distance (x) set to 40 mm
• value of protrusion of mobile terminal (Y) set to 115 mm,
corresponding to the fastening position (1).
In case you want to supply a burner rated thermal output equal to
12 MW, it is necessary to fix the mobile terminal (10) in correspon-
dence of position (2), corresponding to Y=145 mm.
In this case, NOx emissions will be slightly higher but still within
the limit value of 80 mg/kWh with O2=3% and with hot water up to
a maximum temperature of 90° C as thermal fluid.
To change the positioning of the mobile terminal, you need to
loosen the nut (8), move the terminal to position (2) working on
the knob (7), then fasten the terminal again by tightening the
relevant nut.
To keep the recommended head/disk distance equal to X=40
mm, you need to move forward of 30 mm the gas mixing unit by
working on the forward movement screw (9).
