IGNITION AND ADJUSTMENT
• Disconnect the thermostat (if connected) to prevent 2
nd
stage
activation.
• Slightly open the air regulator (see BT 8653/1) and let in an
amount of air deemed necessary for burner operation with the
1
st
stage and lock it in this position; set the air control device in
an intermediate position on the combustion head (see chapter
“Adjusting the air on the combustion head”).
• Turn on the main switch and the equipment switch on the
synoptic panel (1).
• The small motor of the cyclic relay which will start to rotate
causing the connection of the burner component devices
according to the preset program. The burner ignites as described
in chapter “Operation description”.
• When the burner is working in the first stage, regulate the air
to ensure a good combustion (see 8653/1). We recommend
keeping the air quantity at a low level when working in the first
stage output to ensure perfect ignition even in the most difficult
conditions.
• After regulating the air for the first stage the burner is stopped
by disconnecting the current from the main switch, connecting
the terminals of the 2
nd
stage thermostat 4-pole connector
between them and putting the 1
st
and 2
nd
stage switch (3) in the
2
nd
stage position.
• Regulate the combustion air for the second stage.
• Now the equipment is activated again and automatically turns
on, according to the program set in the 2
nd
stage.
• With the equipment operating with the 2
nd
flame, adjust (see
BT 8563/1) the amount of air necessary to ensure efficient
combustion with the airflow necessary to ensure good
combustion.

The burners are equipped with a device that allows the distance
between disk and nozzle to be varied. The factory set distance
between disk and nozzle should be reduced only if you notice that
the cone of atomised fuel coming out of the nozzle wets the disk
fouling it.
