ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
•
Observe applicable national and European Standards (e.g. EN
60335-1/EN 50165) regarding electrical safety.
• Connect the devices, without option N or N1, to the power supply
respecting the phase-neutral polarity of the mains.
• Gas models, with detection electrode, are equipped with a device
that recognises the polarity.
• Failure to respect the phase-neutral polarity causes a non volatile
lock out at the end of the safety time. In the event of a 'partial' short
circuit or poor isolation between the line and earth, the voltage on
the detection electrode may be reduced until it causes the equip
-
ment to lock out, given that the flame signal fails to be detected.
•
Carefully check the cables before commissioning.
• Incorrect wiring can damage the equipment and jeopardise system
safety.
•
Makes sure the equipment earth terminal, the metal burner casing
and electrical system earthing are connected properly.
•
Avoid laying the detection cable along with the power cables or
ignition cables.
•
Use a cable and detection electrode capable of withstanding heat.
They should also be well insulated and protected against conden
-
sation or water in general;
•
Use a shorter and straight ignition cable and lay it far from other
conductors to minimise radio interferences, (maximum length less
than 2 m and insulating voltage > 25 kV);
•
This equipment has internal fuses, however, it must be protected
by means of at least one fuse on the line connection.
The electric motor is equipped with an automatic reset thermal cut-
out that causes it to stop when overheating.
CAUTION / WARNINGS
If it stops please make sure that the motor is in good conditions
and verify the causes of its overheating.
