5.2.5 Grounding
To counteract EMC interference, the functional earth
connection must be used.
►
Connect the earth terminal to the functional earth (FE)
of the machine.
The FE connection between the housing and
the machine must have a low impedance and
be as short as possible.
►
Use the grounding strap included in the
scope of delivery.

5.3 Current limitation when using the extension
port

Observe the current limitation: The output is split 1:1
between the first and second device.

There is no current limitation to consider because the
current for the second device is supplied independently via
the auxiliary voltage connection.
