Only connect to intrinsically safe certified circuits or evalua-
tion amplifiers which do not exceed the following maximum values of the units:

Notes on installation/mounting
• Always observe the applicable national regulations and legal provisions.
• Always observe the applicable installation regulations.
• Avoid electrostatic charging on plastic units and cables.
• If used in zone 0, the sockets must be protected against strong electros-
tatic charging.
• To avoid electrostatic charging ensure that metal parts (plug housing,
fittings, etc.) are equipotentially grounded.
• Ensure that the units are efficiently protected against damage.
• The units must not be installed in the partitions between different zones.
Special conditions to ensure safe operation
• Always refer to the operating instructions as space restrictions may not
allow all markings to be applied to the unit.
Maintenance/repair
The unit must not be modified in any way and can not be repaired. In the
event of a fault please contact the manufacturer.
If required, data sheets, the EC Declaration of Conformity or type test
certificates may be obtained from the manufacturer (see cover sheet).
