4.2.1 Configuration using Balluff Dashboard™ Configuration Tool

The

Balluff Dashboard™ Configuration Tool

is a software application that allows users to

view, modify, save and update the configuration settings of their Balluff compact processors.
Follow the instructions below to operate the

Balluff Dashboard Configuration Tool

and to set

the Balluff device’s configuration.

1. Install the Compact processor as described in the relevant sub-paragraph in 2.6.

2. For USB models, install the Balluff USB driver to your PC as described in par. 4.4.

3. Connect the Compact processor to your PC, power up and wait for the boot

procedure to finish.

4. Run the

Balluff Dashboard™ Configuration Tool

.

5. From the Connection screen, choose your compact processor from the list.

6. Choose the appropriate COM port and Baudrate; then click “Connect”.
