Chock
- deck fitting, used as a guide for mooring or anchor

Cleat
- deck fitting with arms or horns to which lines are tied
or made fast.
Cockpit

Deck
- upper structure whch covers the hull between
gunwales.

Helm
- steerng and controls console.
Hull

that provides buoyancy to float the weight of the craft and its
load.
Keel
- the major longtudnal member of a hull; the lowest
external porton of a boat.
Knot

Lee
- the sde that s sheltered from the wnd.
